Stepping aside for a moment from my collaborations with GL, I decided last year to sell my Rickenbacker 12-string electric guitar which I had bought when I used to play regularly in a band. As those days have now passed and I had not played it in a while, I thought someone else should have the pleasure of listening to its lovely sound. But before it went, I had to write and record something which captured the essence of the instrument; hence this tribute to Tom Petty. Rock on.
