I am indebted to a number of talented songwriters and musicians who have encouraged and aided me in the development of my songwriting talents (such as they are), resulting in the songs I have posted on this site over the last few months.
I have already paid tribute to Gustaf Ljunggren, but would also like to acknowledge the talents of Boo Hewerdine, Darden Smith (who are teaching this week at the magical Moniack Mhor creative writing centre) as well as Charlie Dore, Findlay Napier, Stu Hanna, Karine Polwart and Nancy Kerr who have all contributed to my evolving songwriting talents.
